The Ladies 2's had a fantastic start to the season with a 4-0 WIN over North Wilts. After a sticky start playing in a new formation, the team settled well allowing Jess to put a goal past the keeper by halftime. The team really dug in and held the field with only 10 players for part of the first half, due to a player injury. North Wilts had a number of opportunities but were defended incredibly well by the defence Kirsty, Lorna, Bex, Beth, Ella and Rachel VG. In the second half, we had a number of short corners handled calmly by Phoebe and a series of fantastic goals scored by Sophie, Lizzie and Talia. Incredibly proud of how the team played today, pulling together during poor weather and without any subs! An incredible start to the season!
