Devizes hosted Chippenham in a closely contested end to end game. Devizes started well, but allowed some of Chippenham’s faster players to get through multiple times. Chippenham started to gain dominance in the middle of the pitch towards the end of the first half with both sides still causing dangers to each other with their respective attacks.

In the second half, Devizes came out playing some great hockey and getting lots of chances to score. One shot just missing and bouncing off the post. Toward the end however, Devizes just started to lose their shape a little, and the play went back towards the middle of the pitch. A great performance all-round, especially for Jacob Stoner who had a great game for Devizes, and consequently got man of the match.
