The Men's county trophy took place today at Dorcan School with only 3 of the 8 eligible teams present it made a relaxed morning of hockey with Devizes 2nds getting off to a flyer beating North Wilts 2-0 which they followed up with another 2-0 victory over Chippenham 2nds next up was Chippenham 2nds v north Wilts which the later won narrowly 2-1. With every having played each other once we went around again.

Devizes 2nds continued their winning ways by beating North Wilts again but it could have been different had North Wilts converted a penalty stroke but the keeper saved and Devizes went on to score the winner shortly afterward making it 2- 1, next they played Chippenham and both teams drew blanks drawing 0-0, last up was North Wilts Chippenham with North Wilts running out comfortable winners 3-0 with a four denied by the final whistle.

The games were conducted in a friendly and respectful manner with a good standard of play although there were a few howlers from the teams which provided some light relief.
