As a club we take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously.
We have a great safeguarding lead but feel a Male Welfare rep. would be helpful; someone independent of the coaching staff who can be a point of contact if needed for players, members or the volunteers to raise concerns to. Also to hold us, as a club, to account for our responsibilities. This position should not be too time consuming or require any knowledge of hockey.
Experience of safeguarding would be great but we are also happy to provide training. You would be required to undertake a DBS check. Please contact Lorna Giddings, Chairperson for info.
