Greetings fellow hockey players; 'tis I the Dribbler. Who'd have thought it after two games hey? The Men's 1st team languishing in 4th place whilst the Ladies 1st and Men's 2nds are soaring high like eagles at the top of their leagues. Let us hope that they don't get sucked in by jet engines this weekend. Congratulations to all sides within the club it has been a strong start. Long may it continue. Things of note so far: Rob Dolan's 1st goal in many a moon. Dolan said: " I always knew that I had this brilliance in me, and I showed it that sunny September afternoon. Up yours Gaiger!" The second team have managed to actually understand Grant's team talks. Congratulations to them on understanding MidWilthireish. Grrrrrrrrrrr. The third team. Congratulations on having the most competitive man on the planet, Phil Alsop. Two wins out of wo, great start for them. The fourth team. Will win all games with if Steve Wells stays in goal, so said Steve Wells. The ladies. Have been completely turned around by Roger Edwards. The 1st team have scored more goals in two games than they have in the last two years. Brilliant stuff. It can only be a matter of time before the magic of Edwards and his entourage rubs on further down the ladies set up. Now I am bored.......
